Lange July Victorovich (1925)
Lange J.V. is a doctor of technical sciences, the chief scientist in the field of acoustic methods of non-destructive testing, since 1972 a research worker of VIAM (1948 – 1972y.) and MNPO "Spectr", the regional editor of international magazine “Non-destructive Testing and Evaluation”. He is an author of one monograph, 150 scientific articles and 21 inventions.
The creator flaw detection of laminated constructions and products polymeric composite materials products by means of low-frequency acoustic methods. He suggested and developed physical bases of impedance and velocimeter testing methods. He has theoretically and experimentally researched the dynamic flexibility of dry point contact, defining opportunities of low-frequency testing methods. Lange J.V offered, developed and researched several types of low-frequency acoustic flaw detectors’ converters. He has developed and applied about ten models of low-frequency acoustic flaw detectors.
