ABOUT THE SOCIETY   

1. General provisions 

"The NATIONAL society of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics", hereinafter referred to as "ORGANIZATION", - is the noncommercial, non-profitable republican social association based on free will of the members. It operates according to the law of Republic Moldova № 837-XIII dated 17.05.1996 "About social associations” and the Charter.

Activity of the ORGANIZATION is based on principles of voluntaries, equality, self-management and legality.

 The ORGANIZATION cooperates with other public associations, state and other establishments and the enterprises (including foreign ones) and has the right to create local branches at Republic Moldova territorially administrative units level according to the current legislation.

Activity of the ORGANIZATION is a vowel one.

2. The basic ORGANIZATION aims and problems

2.1. The basic ORGANIZATION aims are the joint work based development of creative activity of the members, satisfaction of their scientific and professional interests, an effective application of intellectual and productive forces cooperation in acceleration of scientific and technical progress, and also the international contacts and cooperation usage for the complex decision of industrial products quality and reliability improvement problems.

2.2. To achieve its aim the ORGANIZATION solves following problems:

• in every possible way promotes complex development of scientific and technical progress in creation of modern non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics tools;
  
  
• promotes the fastest application of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics achievements in the industry, the increasing of efficiency and quality of developed, let out and maintained non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics tools;
  
  
• takes active part in formation of scientific policy and forecasting of science and technics development in the field of creation and the industry non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics means implementation, and also constantly control performance of the plans;
  
  
• directly participates in preparation of non-destructive testing experts of all levels;
  
  
• widely propagandizes the advanced achievements of science and technology in the field of non-destructive testing using mass media;
  
  
• raises qualification of the organization members, expands and deepens their knowledge, promotes the best traditions of physics, computer facilities, promotes qualitatively new, corresponding to world requirements level of training and retraining of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics experts;
  
  
• creates necessary conditions for scientific and professional growth of youth and students, for  non–destructive testing and technical diagnostics expert’s trade prestige raising; actively participates in development and discussion of offers in perfection of curricula and programs of teaching in HIGH SCHOOLS and IPK, preparing physical methods of non- destructive testing experts;
  
  
• strengthens and develops mutually advantageous cooperation in the field of research, creation and implementation of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics tools, including that with national non-destructive testing societies of other countries;
  
  
• creates favorable conditions, promotes development of moral and material stimulus for initiative and creative and professional interests satisfaction, communication of scientists and experts, development of individual collective creativity, the organization members  scientific technical achievements implementation;
  
  
• organizes a wide exchange of scientific ideas and technical decisions, promotes mutual understanding between scientists and production workers, generalizes and distributes the experience which has been saved up in the international community of the modern non- destructive testing and technical diagnostics technologies;
  
• provides achievement of necessary level information and general educational work in the field of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics, closely-related scientific and technical disciplines, publishes the technical scientific and popular scientific literature, informational and promotional materials for the organization members, the wide public and the interested agency and the organizations, organizes and holds exhibitions, scientific conferences, symposiums, meetings for propagation of modern achievements in the field of non- destructive testing and technical diagnostics.

3.  EFNDT and ICDNT membership 

On October 6^th 2003 the National Society of Non-Desrtuctive Testing and Technic Diagnostics of RM was unanimously accepted as the association member of the European Federation EFNDT at the General Assembly of  EFNDT in Prague . At the meeting of  EFNDT that took place in Moscow on March 19^th 2004 the EFNDT president Michael Farlej has handed the  pendant  to NSNDTTD RM. Also Mr. Marshall Douglas - the actual  president  of  ICNDT - has received the documents for acception of NSNDTTD as a member of ICNDT. NSNDTTD maintains  business contacts with similar associations in Europe and Asia. Our association maintains the closest relations with Russian and Ukrainian societies of NDT and TD with which it has signed  agreements on " Friendship , Cooperation and Mutual Aid ".
